Hello, my name is Tania.  I’m what you call a Peek-a-Poo.  I’m a white, 6 year old female, and weigh a hefty 16+ lbs.  I have big brown eyes to adore you with.  My foster mom thinks that I could really lose a few lbs - as you can see... I’m on the chunky side.

I do have SPECIAL NEEDS:  About three years ago, I started to have seizures and have been to vet(s) for monitoring and they seem to be under control now with medicine that I take daily.  It is extremely important that my new home gives me my pill twice a day.  They are called phenobarbital.  They are not expensive.   Until I find my forever home, Puppy Pals will keep a close watch to make sure that I remain a healthy girl. A supply of my medicine will come along with me (along with all my medical records - of course).
My foster mom tells me that there have been lots of dogs who come into PPR with this condition and they have all found loving forever homes and tells me that I will too.   I surely hope so  - I deserve one.
Puppy Pals came to my rescue and took me in when my family had a new baby and felt they did not have the time for me that I deserved.   I’ve been updated on all my shots,  and have been heart-worm and fecal tested (both negative).  I came into rescue already spayed.  My past family says that I get along great with kids and am potty trained.

VET SUGGESTION: It was suggested that my food be monitored.  The meds seem to give me a big appetite and are probably the reason for my figure.  PPR and the Vet suggests no free-feeding and keeping me on a good diet.
I get along with all the other dogs here and very laid-back, easy going dog.  I do sleep in a crate but, would prefer a soft human bed.    I’m not a barker – so I could fit into lots of new home possibilities.  I will make a wonderful companion for that right person.  Is it - you?
I have recently had a big day - I spent the day being pampered at the groomer’s and having a complete make-over.  (New pics coming soon - sneak peek below!)  I am going to be gorgeous for my new family!
